What is Dîner en Vert?

A pop-up 'green gala' with the goal of celebrating community sustainability while supporting two non-profits!
Join Delaware Valley VEG as we throw our "green" gala!

Our event will showcase amazing sustainable, plant-based food, and ways in which to foster green and sustainable communities. It will highlight the work being done by Delaware Valley VEG, in partnership with others. Also, 20% of proceeds will benefit Ann's Heart of Phoenixville and the HEART Kitchen where everyone has a seat at the table.

 

We'll gather for a cocktail hour, enjoy an abundant dinner, and dance to some live music.  At sunset, we'll celebrate the summer solstice with a champagne toast!


Guests are asked to wear summer garden party attire featuring the color green.  To add to the excitement, our event location is TOP SECRET until the day of the event!  

It will be an event full of surprise, celebration, amazing eats, and green-minded fun!

Our dinner will be a delicious plant-based tasting menu from area restaurants and bakeries, both vegan and not, AND our in-house chefs. What better way to treat your taste buds than to savor some the incredible vegan dishes this community has to offer in one event?! 

 

As always, we will have some rather tasty adult beverages to enjoy, with an OPEN wine & beer bar and a complimentary champagne toast at sunset.  (Cash bar for mixed drinks - cash only.)

Our dinner aims to be as low-footprint as possible and promote sustainable community. Our entire meal (including plates and utensils) will be compostable!
And we challenge YOU to show off your 'green'. What will you wear to Dîner en Vert to impress our judges and take home a prize for best dressed?

General Admission: $100 (Adults only / 18+)
5:30 PM - 9:30 PM

A Focus on Sustainability

We are putting a significant amount of effort into ensuring our event is as low-footprint as possible. We are teaming up with some amazing restaurants and service providers to ensure our dinner takes the term "green gala" to a new level!

Our dinnerware (containers, plates, napkins, and utensils) and food will be 100% compostable! With the help of a local composting company, Back to Earth Compost, we will be providing a means for YOU to package your waste for immediate composting at the end of the event. 

Our dinner will be 100% plant-based, vegan food so that it reflects the hightest standards in sustainable food sources.

Let's talk about the dress code.
What exactly is "green-inspired" attire mean anyway?

We are here to provide you some fun examples of what one might wear to a Dîner en Vert. But keep in mind, we will be rewarding creativity - so don't let us hold you back!

Please keep in mind that this is a gala - so dress to impress! Summer cocktail attire is recommended. From there let your imagination take you where it will.

And lastly, remember that the location has yet to be revealed. Be prepared for anything: indoors, outdoors, AC or not, hard floors, grass underfoot??? Maybe skip the spikiest of spike heels? :-)
