What is Dîner en Vert?

A pop-up 'green gala' with the goal of celebrating community sustainability while supporting two non-profits!
Join Ann's Heart and Delaware Valley VEG as we throw a "green" gala!

Our event will showcase amazing sustainable, plant-based food, and ways in which to foster green and sustainable communities. It will also highlight the work being done by these two non-profits in our community, in partnership with others. And will raise funds for the HEART Kitchen - a community kitchen where everyone has a seat at the table.

Guests are asked to wear summer garden party attire featuring the color green.  To add to the excitement, our event location is TOP SECRET until the day of the event!

It will be an event full of surprise, celebration, amazing eats, and green-minded fun!
Surprise & Celebration
Surprise & Celebration
We are excited to bring back our full event, with a mystery site and incredible dinner and drinks!
Our event will entice your senses, broaded your awareness of sustainability, and have you enjoying every moment of a plant-based dinner, drinks, music, and activities, all while embrancing everything 'green'.
Amazing Eats
Amazing Eats
This year we are excited to share that our dinner will be a delicious tasting menu of amazing treats from several area restaurants AND our in-house chefs at the HEART Kitchen. What better way to treat your taste buds than to savor some the incredible vegan dishes this community has to offer in one event?!
And as always, we will have some rather tasty adult beverages to enjoy!
Green-minded Fun
Green-minded Fun
Our dinner aims to be as low-footprint as possible and promote sustainable community. Our entire meal (including plates and utensils) will be compostable!
And we challenge YOU to show off your 'green'. What will you wear to Dîner en Vert to impress our judges and take home a prize for best dressed?

Dress Code: Summer Garden Party / Cocktail

A Focus on Sustainability

We are putting a significant amount of effort into ensuring our event is as low-footprint as possible. We are teaming up with some amazing restaurants and service providers to ensure our dinner takes the term "green gala" to a new level!

Our dinnerware (containers, plates, napkins, and utensils) and food will be 100% compostable! With the help of a local composting company, Back to Earth Compost, we will be providing a means for YOU to package your waste for immediate composting at the end of the event.

Our dinner will be 100% plant-based, vegan food so that it reflects the hightest standards in sustainable food sources.

Going green never tasted so good!

Two Non-Profits

The proceeds from this year's event will benefit the following two non-profits. Both are working toward educating the community on how to build connections, share resources, and build sustainable communities for the future.

Our mission is to teach people why the best choice for their bodies, the planet, and its animals is to eat more plants...and that eating more plants can be sustainable, satisfying, and delicious!

It's a beautiful partnership...

Two years ago Dîner en Vert started out as a fun way to launch our two new projects. The result is a beautiful partnership. Now, the HEART is home to Delaware Valley VEG and its educational programming.
